Personal… Born June 3, 1997 in Des Moines, Iowa… daugher of Michael and Janet Jones… Nursing major…

Why Iowa… Iowa’s excellent nursing college, and three generations of my family attended the University of Iowa so I was born and raised a Hawkeye. I also love the atmosphere on campus.

My favorite aspect of rowing is… I like being part of a team, it feels like it’s a family. I enjoy being able to lead the team as a coxswain and motivate them during a race.

What made you want to become a rower… The hard work and discipline it takes to succeed in the sport.
