Why Iowa… I always knew that someday I would attend the University of Iowa. After visiting a few times, it felt like a good place to call home. We also have a great pre-child life program.

My favorite aspect of rowing is… being able to feel the boat glide on the water and being part of a team that feels like a family.

What made you want to become a rower… At orientation someone on the team approached me about it. After thinking it over all summer, I decided to give it a try and instantly fell in love with the sport.
