2021 Honors – Second-team All-Big Ten… United Soccer Coaches North Region Third-Team… Big Ten Player to Watch… Big Ten Defensive Player of the Week (Aug. 24)… team captain… Team Co-MVP… Iowa’s Defensive Player of the Year… earned Academic All-Big Ten honors… letterwinner. 2021 – Started all 20 games… logging a team high with 1,826 minutes… scored one goal and tallied three assists on eight  shots with five being on goal. she played all 90 minutes in 19 of the 20 matches with the sole non-completion coming in the 5-0 win over Purdue Fort Wayne (9/02)… scored the game-winning goal in a 2-1 victory over Iowa State (8/26)…integral member of an Iowa defense that gave up 20 goals with six clean sheets.

2020 Honors – Voted Iowa’s Defensive Player of the Year… Academic All-Big Ten selection. 2020 – Started 16 games, logging 1,421 minutes… scored two goals on 10 shots with four being on goal… missed one game because of injury…netted Iowa’s first goal of season at Rutgers (3/18), scoring on a penalty kick… scored the game-winning goal in a 1-0 victory at Campbell in the First Round of the NCAA Tournament… it was Iowa’s first NCAA Tournament victory in school history… key member of an Iowa defense that posted six shutouts… played 90 or more minutes in 14 games… named to Big Ten Preseason Honors List.

2019 Honors — Academic All-Big Ten… named to the Dean’s List during the spring semester. 2019 — Started all 21 games, logging 1,833 minutes — second-most on the team… played 90 or more minutes in 13 games… scored two goals and tallied one assist… both goals were game-winners… scored her first career goal in a 4-0 win over Northern Colorado (9/13)… netted the game-winning strike in a 3-1 win over Illinois (9/26)… tallied an assist in a 2-1 double overtime victory over Ohio State (10/27)… key member of an Iowa defense that registered eight shutouts and allowed seven or fewer shots in 13 games.

2018 — Started all 18 games… tallied 1,613 minutes of action… played 90 or more minutes in six games… recorded an assist in wins over Indiana State (8/26) and Central Michigan (8/31)… letterwinner.

Personal — Born May 25, 2000… daughter of Tim and Brandy Wheaton… has two brothers, Justin and Ryan… majoring in psychology.
