111 Hawkeyes Named Fall Academic All-Big Ten

One hundred eleven University of Iowa student-athletes have been named to the 2024 Big Ten Fall Academic All-Conference team. The list includes student-athletes from men’s cross country (7), women’s cross country (12), field hockey (15), football (47), women’s soccer (20), and volleyball (10).

The Hawkeyes finished the 2024 season strong, performing well at the Bradley Pink Classic, where the men placed third and the women finished 10th. The team also had consistent results at the Gans Creek Classic, with the women placing 12th out of 38 teams and the men finishing 13th out of 35 teams.

Hawkeyes Close Postseason at NCAA Midwest Regional

The University of Iowa men’s and women’s cross country teams wrapped up postseason competition on Friday at the NCAA Midwest Regional. The men placed 13th with a score of 389 points, while the women finished in 17th place with 478 points.

The University of Iowa men’s and women’s cross country teams concluded their regular season on Friday, with six Hawkeyes setting personal records at the Bradley Pink Classic. The men placed third overall with 165 points, while the women finished tenth with 275 points.

University of Iowa cross country set eight personal bests at the Big Ten Preview on Friday evening at the Blue and Orange Golf Course in Champaign, Illinois. The women finished fifth with 140 points, while the men placed seventh with 178 points.
