2021 — Indoor – ran season bests in mile at Larry Wieczorek Invite (4:12.57), 3,000 meters at Hawkeye B1G Invite (8:12.68), and 5,000 meters at B1G Championships (14:18.11)… Outdoor – won 3,000 meters with a team-leading 8:17.67 and ran season-best 1,500 meters (3:58.95) at B1G Florida Invite… ran season-best 10,000 meters at B1G Invite #3 (30:46.80)… Academic All-Big Ten… letterwinner… Cross Country – one of six Hawkeyes to compete in all six races… Iowa’s top finisher in four of six races… placed second at Hawkeye Invite with a season-best 18:22.1… placed 42nd at Big Ten Championships with a collegiate-best 25:54.3 (5.2 miles)… placed eighth at Bradley Pink Classic (24:14.5-8,000 meters), ninth at Gans Creek Invite (24:14.6-8,000 meters), 11th at Dirksen-Greeno Invite (24:34.7-8,000 meters), and 64th at NCAA Midwest Regional (31:56.84-10,000 meters)… Academic All-Big Ten… letterwinner.

2020 — Indoor – ran mile at Hawkeye Invite (4:22.44) and 3,000 meters at Larry Wieczorek Invite (8:38.93) while competing unattached.

2019 — Cross Country – competed at Hawkeye Invite (18:47.0-6,000 meters) and Woody Greeno Invite (26:00.6-8,000 meters)… ran unattached at Notre Dame Invite (25:47.87-5 miles) and Pre-Nationals (26:28.1-8,000 meters)… letterwinner.

High School — played lacrosse his first two years then switched to track and field his junior year and cross country his senior year… two-time all-conference and earned all-state for his senior year… placed fifth at the Illinois state outdoor track meet in the 3,200-meters… four-time academic all-conference.

Personal — born March 3, 2001… son of Mike and Nancy Trattner… has three siblings, Mikey, Mo, and Jake… health and human physiology major.
