Before Iowa…Member of Bainbridge Island Rowing for four years…team captain senior year…member of National Honors Society all four years of high school…earned silver presidential service award…coached youth soccer…

Personal…Born November 18, 1998…daughter of Janet and Greg Millerd…two siblings (Carly and Quinn)…Biology/Pre-Med major.

Why Iowa…On my visit everyone was super welcoming and I could picture spending the next four years on this campus and absolutely loving it.

My favorite aspect of rowing is…I love how this is the ultimate team sport. Everyone has to work together in order for the boat to move and no one can do it on their own.

What made you want to become a rower…I needed to continue playing a sport after an injury and rowing was the only option available at the time.
