Why Iowa… I loved the campus, location of the university, and the fact that it has great health and science programs.
My favorite aspect of rowing is… It challenges me not only physically, but also mentally. I also enjoy how close the team is to one another.
What made you want to become a rower… After having three hip surgeries and being out of sports for two years, I knew my athletic career wasn’t over. Since I was able to walk on, I decided to give it a shot and see where it would take me.
