2018-19 Honors — Academic All-Big Ten selection… named to the Dean’s List during the spring semester. 2018-19 — Swam a collegiate-best in the 100 back (59.91) at the Shamrock Invitational.
2017-18 — Swam collegiate-bests in 100 free (52.62), 200 free (1:52.53), 500 free (5:06.74), and 200 fly (2:02.96) at the Minnesota Invitational.
High School — Four-time All-MIC selection… four-time member of the Carmel High School State team, finishing in top-16… helped Carmel to four state titles, the 28th, 29th, 30th, and 31st consecutive crown — the national record for consecutive state wins… top times are: 100 free (51.75), 200 free (1:50.22), 500 free (4:57.81), 100 back (56.79), 100 fly (56.20)… 2015 USA Swimming Scholastic All-American… graduated with Indiana Academic honors… three-time Carmel High School Athletic Scholar… two-time DECA state finalist… high school coaches were: Chris Plumb, Ian Murray, and Rhiannon Sheets.
Personal — Born May 1, 1999, in Overland Park, Kansas… daughter of David and Jane Grout… has a older brother, Mason… father is an Iowa alum… grandfather, Buddy Humpries, played college football at Maryland… majoring in business.
