IOWA CITY, Iowa — Single-game tickets for University of Iowa men’s basketball nonconference home games, including the Gavitt Games match-up against Seton Hall, are now on sale.

Single-game tickets for the Iowa Corn Cy-Hawk Series game against Iowa State (Dec. 8) and Big Ten Conference games will go on sale the week of Nov. 14, with those details to be released at a later date.

Single-game tickets for most nonconference games are $18 for adults and $5 for UI students and children. Tickets for the Seton Hall contest, slated for Nov. 17, are $28 for adults, and $15 for UI students and children.

In addition, groups of 20 or more interested in purchasing tickets should contact Rachael Bedell, group sales coordinator, at (319) 384-4299 or rachael-bedell@hawkeyesports.com.

The Hawkeyes will host one exhibition game (Nov. 4 versus Regis University). Adult tickets for the exhibition contest are $5. Children and UI students will be admitted free of charge to the exhibition game, but will need a ticket to be admitted.

Iowa opens the regular season with a busy weekend, hosting Kennesaw State (8:30 p.m.) on Friday, Nov. 11, and Savannah State on Sunday, Nov. 13 (2:30 p.m.). Both contests are part of men’s and women’s doubleheaders. Fans who purchase tickets to either game will be granted admission to both games of the doubleheader.

Additional nonconference home games for coach Fran McCaffery’s squad include UT Rio Grande Valley (Nov. 20), Omaha (Dec. 3), Stetson (Dec. 5), North Dakota (Dec. 20), and Delaware State (Dec. 22). The Hawkeyes will play their Big Ten home opener on Sunday, Jan. 1, against Michigan.

Iowa returns seven players from last year’s team that won 22 games, tied for third in the Big Ten, and advanced to the second round of the NCAA Tournament. Hawkeye fans once again made Mediacom Court at Carver-Hawkeye Arena a home court advantage, as Iowa ranked 19th in the national attendance rankings.

Tickets may be ordered online at hawkeyesports.com, in person at the UI Athletics Ticket Office in Carver-Hawkeye Arena, or by calling 1-800-IA-HAWKS.
