The University of Iowa women’s tennis team will conclude its nonconference schedule with a pair of road duals this weekend in the Sunflower State. The Hawkeyes will take on Kansas State at 2 p.m. (CT) on Saturday in Prairie Village, Kansas, at the Homestead Country Club, before facing Wichita State on Monday at 11 a.m. at Genesis Rock Road.

THE OPPONENTS
• Kansas State has a 2-3 overall record with both victories coming in a doubleheader against Drake on Jan. 25. The all-time series is tied at 3-3.
• Wichita State is currently 4-4 overall, featuring a 6-1 win over Kansas State on Feb. 1. The Shockers will face Memphis and UT Arlington on Friday and Saturday prior to Monday’s home dual against Iowa. Wichita State leads the all-time series, 5-4.

The Hawkeyes secured their fifth victory of the spring season with a dominant 4-1 win over Ole Miss at the William F. Galtney Indoor Tennis Center. Iowa claimed the doubles point and earned three singles victories, two of which were in straight sets. Daianne Hayashida’s 6-3, 4-6, 6-2 win clinched the Hawkeyes’ fourth point.
