The 29th-ranked University of Iowa women’s tennis team will wrap up its three-match homestand by hosting No. 62 Nebraska on Saturday at noon (CT) at the Hawkeye Tennis and Recreation Complex. Admission is free.

• The Cornhuskers are 11-6 overall and 1-5 in Big Ten play. Nebraska’s lone Big Ten win came over Minnesota (4-1).
• During its nonconference schedule, Nebraska defeated Wichita State, 4-1, on Jan. 24. The Huskers also posted 7-0 sweeps over Saint Louis on Feb. 15 and Liberty on Feb. 23.
•The Hawkeyes have won two straight matches over the Huskers.
LAST MATCH
The Hawkeyes split its home matches last weekend, sweeping No. 72 Minnesota on March 21 and dropping a heartbreaker to No. 18 Wisconsin, 4-3, on March 23.
DEJNOZKOVA NAMED BIG TEN PLAYER OF THE WEEK
Junior Tereza Dejnozkova was named the Big Ten Co-Player of the Week on March 19 after posting a 4-0 record in Hawkeye wins over No. 46 Illinois and No. 38 Northwestern. She clinched Iowa’s 4-3 win over Northwestern, the program’s first over the Wildcats in 15 years.
QUICK HITTERS
• Iowa’s 10-5 start to the season is the best for the program since the 2016-17 campaign when the team finished non-conference play 11-3.
• Iowa is 8-1 this spring when opening the match by claiming the doubles points.
• Senior Barbora Pokorna is 9-1 in singles this spring, with seven of her nine victories coming in straight sets. Pokorna has played at the Nos. 4-6 singles positions for the team.
• Sasha Boros is in her ninth season as Iowa’s head coach. The Iowa alum has guided the Hawkeyes to 99 victories during her eight-year tenure. She has 276 wins as a head coach in stops at Stetson, Missouri and Iowa.
