#10 Deacon Hill Season 2023-24

Hawk Item – – Joined program in spring, 2023 after playing at Wisconsin in 2022 and redshirting in 2021… played in one contest in 2022 but had no passing attempts.

2023 Honors – – Next Man in Award, offense… 2023 – – Started last nine games at quarterback, playing in 13… completed 122-of-251 passing attempts for 1,152 yards, five touchdowns and eight interceptions, with his longest completion of 54 yards on the season… completed 20-of-31 passing attempts for 223 yards, with the longest reception of 54 yards, one interception and one touchdown in 22-0 win over Rutgers… completed 19-of-29 passing attempts for 167 yards and one touchdown, with a long completion of 31 yards, and rushed five times for -2 yards, with a career-long rush of 12 yards, in 15-13 win over Illinois… completed 18-of-32 passing attempts for 120 yards, (long completion of 19 yards) in 26-0 loss to Michigan… completed 11-of-27 passing attempts for 115 yards, first career touchdown and a long of 32 in 26-16 win vs. Michigan State… completed 11-of-28 passing attempts for 94 yards, with a long reception of 37 yards, and rushed five times for a career-high 10 yards and one touchdown (long rush of eight yards) in 13-10 win at Nebraska… completed 10-of-15 passing attempts for 65 yards and one touchdown in 10-7 win at Northwestern… the longest completion of the game (23 yards) set up Iowa’s game-winning field goal… completed 10-of a career-high 28 passing attempts for 116 yards, one interception, and a long of 36 yards in 12-10 loss vs. Minnesota… rushed a career-high eight times and scored his first career rushing touchdown vs. Minnesota… went 6-of-21 passing for 110 yards, one touchdown and one interception in 20-14 win over Purdue in his first career start… completed 6-of-14 passes for 37 yards and a long of 14 in 15-6 win at Wisconsin… completed 7-of-18 passes for 56 yards and a long of 14 in 35-0 loss to Tennessee… letterwinner.

 

 

High school honors – – Invited to compete in 2021 Polynesian Bowl following senior season… named News-Press All-County offensive MVP as a junior… Career – – career totals include completing 214-of-361 pass attempts for 3,183 yards… junior year totals include 3,102 passing yards and 33 touchdowns, while rushing for 461 yards and 13 touchdowns… also competed in basketball as a prep.
