Career — All-American, placing second at 133 pounds at 2008 NCAA Championships… placed third at 2008 Big Ten Championships… was 6-2 at Carver-Hawkeye Arena… transferred from Virginia Tech University after the 2005-06 season… was a member of three NCAA and Big Ten champion Iowa teams.

2007-08 — All-American, placing second at 133 pounds at NCAA Championships… placed third at Big Ten Championships… went 31-5 in collegiate matches, 18-3 in dual competition and 7-1 in Big Ten duals, scoring 67 points in dual matches… posted a 6-1 record at Carver-Hawkeye Arena… ranked second on team in major decisions (10) and technical falls (2) and third in fastest fall (0:47)… named Wrestler of the Week by the Big Ten and TheMat.com Dec. 12… won Midlands title… won Kaufman-Brand Open while competing unattached… earned team all-America award… letterwinner.

2005-06 — redshirted at Virginia Tech University.
