Five University of Iowa field hockey student-athletes – junior Milly Short, sophomore Dionne van Aalsum, sophomore Gia Whalen, freshman Sabrina McGroarty, and senior Mia Magnotta – earned Big Ten Conference recognition for the 2024 season, it was announced Wednesday by the league office.

The University of Iowa men’s basketball team will host Southern in the second game of the Kenny Arnold Classic on Thursday at 7 p.m. (CT) on Mediacom Court inside Carver-Hawkeye Arena. The game will be streamed on B1G+.

FLIGHT NIL

The Hawkeye FLIGHT Program is a cross-departmental effort that will create and oversee Name, Image, Likeness (NIL) educational programming for Hawkeye student-athletes. FLIGHT programming provides Hawkeye student-athletes the opportunity to understand their NIL rights and receive training and resources to enhance their NIL potential. FLIGHT programming is available to all interested current Hawkeye student-athletes and/or sports programs.
