Mediacom Outdoor Club is an indoor space located directly behind the Outdoor Club stadium seating, spanning the entire length of the playing field. The east side of the building includes a wall of windows that allows for a spectacular view of Duke Slater Field and the University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics. The west side of the building includes a wall of windows that provides a view of the Hansen Football Performance Center. The 3,600-square-foot, centrally located space boasts a 20-foot ceiling, making it an ideal venue for banquets, receptions, wedding ceremonies, holiday parties, business functions, and other social gatherings. The corridors extending to the north and south provide additional square footage, allowing for some creativity in the planning process. TED PACHA FAMILY CLUB

Ted Pacha Family Club is an indoor space located directly behind the North End Zone/Kinnick Edge Club stadium seating. Newly renovated and completed in 2019, this space features a wall of windows on the south side, offering views of both Duke Slater Field and the University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics. The space provides access to the North End Zone seating areas for photo opportunities with the field in the background and showcases unique Hawkeye-themed memorabilia and images throughout. Equipped with an LCD projector, drop-down screen, numerous TV monitors with cable, and a sound system, this space is ideal for banquets, business dinners, holiday parties, graduation parties, and other social gatherings. WEDDINGS

The following wedding prices apply to all our venue spaces and override the original room rental fees. Weddings are priced differently from other events, and there is no "University" pricing for weddings. If you are planning a wedding ceremony and/or reception, please refer to the prices on this page rather than those listed on the other venue pages.

Rental Fee Includes:

PHOTO OPPORTUNITIES

LOCATION

• Duke Slater Field at Kinnick Stadium (825 Evashevski Drive, Iowa City, IA 52240)
• The cost is $30 per hour, per person. Professional photographers are not included in this count.

PHOTOGRAPHER POLICY

Professional photographers are not included in the total guest count in a photo session. A professional photographer is defined as someone hired specifically for photography services who uses professional-grade equipment. Photos taken by family members or friends using person cameras or mobile devices do count toward the total.

To confirm that a photographer qualifies as a professional and should be excluded from the count, please provide at least one of the following:

• A link to the photographer’s official website
• A link to a professional social media page (e.g., Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn)

OPTIONAL ADD-ONS

• Access to the home team tunnel is available for an additional $100 per hour (flat rate).
• Stadium lights may be used for evening sessions at an additional $150 per hour (flat rate).

Please note: The press box, north end zone, and both the home and visiting team locker rooms are not available for photo sessions.

PAYMENT

Payment is required no later than three business days prior to the scheduled session. Cash payments are not accepted.

CANCELLATION & REFUND POLICY

If a client cancels for any reason (including weather), notice must be provided at least 48 hours prior to the scheduled photo session to receive a full refund.

Cancellations made between 48 and 24 hours before the session will result in 50% of the session fee being retained.

Cancellations made within 24 hours of the scheduled session are non-refundable, and 100% of the session fee will be retained.

If the venue cancels due to weather or other unforeseen circumstances, the session may be rescheduled or refunded at the discretion of the event staff.

VENUE POLICIES

AVAILABILITY

Carver-Hawkeye Arena: Limited availability between August and May. Event booking for October to April opens after the winter sports schedule is released.

Kinnick Stadium: Not available for event bookings or photo opportunities Friday-Sunday on home football game weekends.

Nagle-Duda Gymnastics & Spirit Squads Training Center: Event dates are subject to approval by gymnastics and spirit squads team.

1. Sue Beckwith, MD Boathouse: Event dates are subject to approval by rowing team and boathouse staff.

CANCELLATION

If an event is cancelled, the following fees will apply and must be paid at the time of cancellation:

• Date of Agreement to 91 days prior – 25% of the total rental fee
• From 61 days to 90 days prior – 50% of the total rental fee
• From 31 days to 60 days prior – 75% of the total rental fee
• From 0 days to 30 days prior - 100% of the total rental fee

Please note: This cancellation policy applies to full event bookings. For photo session add-ons, please refer to the “Photo Opportunities: Optional Add-Ons” section.

CATERING

University Catering is the exclusive provider for Hawkeye Event Spaces. Catering for events must be provided by University Catering, located at the Iowa Memorial Union on the east side of the University of Iowa campus. Contact details will be provided during the rental process.

On-campus alcoholic beverage service is limited to designated facilities including Carver-Hawkeye Arena, Kinnick Stadium, and additional campus locations may be used for single events with the approval of the Vice President of Student Life or designee in accordance with the University’s policy.

EVENT FURNISHINGS

Each venue space is equipped with tables and chairs. If your event requires tables and chairs beyond what is available in our event space inventory, or if specialty items are needed, these will need to be rented at an additional cost.

INSURANCE

All University organizations are covered under the University’s policy. All public and non-profit organizations are required to have liability insurance for their events. Insurance is necessary in the event of property damage to our facility or if someone is injured and brings a claim against the contract holder and/or the University.

If the client does not already have a liability insurance policy, one can be purchased online through General Liability Insurance for Special Events from PHLY, offered by Philadelphia Insurance Companies, or through another provider of their choice.

PARKING

Carver-Hawkeye Arena: Parking is available Monday through Friday in Lot 46 starting at 4:30 PM and all day on weekends. Parking is available on weekdays at an hourly rate in the Dental Lot, located south of the main entrance to Carver. Guests who park in Lot 46 before 4:30 PM on weekdays are subject to non-refundable fees.

Kinnick Stadium: Parking is available Monday through Friday in Lot 43 starting at 4:30 PM and all day on weekends. Parking is available on weekdays at an hourly rate at Ramp 3, located behind the north side of Kinnick Stadium. Guests who park in Lot 43 before 4:30 PM on weekdays are subject to non-refundable fees.
