The University of Iowa softball team defeated Georgia Tech, 2-1, on Friday evening at Pearl Field in the opening game of the Dr. Christine Grant Classic.
The University of Iowa softball team will welcome South Dakota State and Georgia Tech to Bob Pearl Field for the Dr. Christine Grant Classic. First pitch against Georgia Tech is set for 5 p.m. CT Friday and 1:30 p.m. CT Saturday. The Hawkeyes will then face South Dakota State at 4 p.m. CT Saturday before concluding the weekend at 12:30 p.m. CT Sunday.
The University of Iowa softball team fell to Iowa State, 9-7, on Wednesday at Pearl Field.
