The University of Iowa softball team split opening day at the Campbell Invitational on Friday. Iowa defeated Radford, 11-3, and dropped to host Campbell, 8-2. The Hawkeyes fall to 8-3 on the season.
The softball team travels to Buies Creek, North Carolina, for the Campbell Softball Tournament. The Hawkeyes open with matchups against Radford and Campbell on Friday.
The softball team won all four of its games this weekend at the MUSB Invitational I. The Hawkeyes posted wins over Army (8-2) and Western Kentucky (8-6) on Saturday.

The University of Iowa softball team opened play at the MUSB Invitational I with a pair of wins Friday, walking off Army (7-6) and defeating host Mercer (10-2), in six innings at Sikes Field.

Hawkeyes Rally To Beat Samford, UConn
The softball team recorded two come-from-behind wins on Saturday, upending Samford (3-2) and UConn (10-9), on JoAnne Graf Field. Iowa improved to 3-1 overall after day two of the JoAnne Graf Classic.
