Hawkeyes Open Season with Team Titles

IOWA CITY, Iowa – University of Iowa cross country began its 2026 season by winning both the men’s and women’s team titles at the Hawkeye Invitational at Ashton Cross Country Course on Friday morning.

Iowa Athletics Announces Event Time Changes

Due to forecasted high temperatures throughout the weekend, the University of Iowa has announced schedule changes for several athletic events.

Notes: Hawkeye Invitational

Iowa begins its cross country season at the Ashton Cross Country Course. The women’s 4,000-meter race begins at 6 p.m. and the men’s 6,000 meters will follow. Admission is free.
