Lydia Test has been named assistant coach for the University of Iowa women’s gymnastics program, it was announced Friday by head coach Jen Llewellyn.
The University of Iowa Department of Athletics recognized the academic and athletic accomplishments of its student-athletes at the 10th annual Golden Herkys on Monday evening at Carver-Hawkeye Arena.
The Iowa Gymnastics team finished the season with a 14-6 record, 6-3 in the Big Ten. The Hawkeyes placed fourth in B1G regular season and fifth at the Big Ten Championships.
Tran Finishes as National Runner‑Up on Bars
Aurélie Tran delivered a 9.9750 to tie for second on the uneven bars at the NCAA Championships. The score is the highest bars mark by a Hawkeye at the NCAA meet in program history.
Tran Punches Ticket to NCAA Championships
Aurélie Tran will compete at the NCAA Championships on the uneven bars in Semifinal II on Thursday at 8 p.m. (CT) inside Dickies Arena in Fort Worth, Texas.
