The Iowa gymnastics head coach Jen Llewellyn has been named Women’s Collegiate Gymnastics Association (WCGA) North Central Region Head Coach of the Year, the organization announced Wednesday.
University of Iowa sophomore Aurélie Tran will compete at the NCAA Championships on the uneven bars in the Semifinals inside Dickies Arena in Fort Worth, Texas. Team semifinal and individual competition will be conducted in two sessions Thursday, April 16, at 3:30 and 7 p.m. (CT).
The University of Iowa gymnastics team closed its season at the NCAA Regionals in Corvallis, Oregon, finishing third in Session II with a team score of 196.750.

Iowa women’s gymnastics team travels to Corvallis, Oregon, for the NCAA Corvallis Regional at Gill Coliseum on Saturday. The Hawkeyes will compete in Session II at 9 p.m. (CT) against No. 4 UCLA, No. 13 Minnesota and the final spot will be decided in a play-in meet between Washington and San José State.
