Sarah Ballard Season 2020-21

2023-24 — Posted NCAA Zone Diving qualifying standards off 1-meter and 3-meter… posted a collegiate-best 319.55 off 3-meter at Hawkeye Invite and a season-best 303.38 off 1-meter at Illinois… placed 13th off 1-meter at B1G Championships (260.05)… Academic All-Big Ten honoree… Dean’s List student (Fall 2023)… letterwinner.

2022-23 — Posted NCAA Zone Diving qualifying standards off 1-meter and 3-meter… scored a collegiate-best 319.16 off 3-meter vs. Illinois, which ranked second on the team… posted a season-best 277.45 off of 1-meter vs. Nebraska… won three event titles during the regular season… Academic All-Big Ten… letterwinner.

2021-22 — Posted NCAA Zone Diving qualifying standards off 1-meter and 3-meter… led the team off the 1-meter (306.30) and was second off 3-meter (314.55)… posted a career-high off platform (204.75)… placed 16th off 1-meter (285.95) and 23rd off 3-meter (250.85) at B1G Championships… Dean’s List student (Spring 2022).

2020-21 — Posted NCAA Zone Diving standards off the 1-meter (294.15) and 3-meter springboard (308.35)… led team off the 1-meter and ranked second off 3-meter… tied for 20th off the 1-meter at the Big Ten Championships with a 261.55… placed 19th off 3-meter (292.10) and 25th off 1-meter (236.25) at NCAA Zones.

 

High School — All-American as a junior… four-time state finalist, placing fourth as a sophomore and sixth as a senior… three-time sectional champion as an individual… conference and regional champion as a junior… helped team to a section title as a sophomore… 3-meter Zone champion in summer of 2019… member of Principal’s Advisory Council… high school coach was Andy Pederson… club coaches were Dave McKown, Kristen Hayden, and Courtney Wilder.

Personal — Born Oct. 15, 2001, in Indianapolis, Ind.… daughter of Matt and Andrea Ballard… mother dove collegiately at Indiana University… has three siblings, Hannah, Charlie, and Grace… political science major.
