Nikol Lagodzinska Season 2014-15

2017-18 — Swam a collegiate-best in the 50 free (23.58), 100 back (55.74), and 200 back (2:01.04) at the Big Ten Championships.

2016-17 — Swam to a collegiate-best time in 50 free (23.64) and season-best times in 100 free (52.13), 200 free (1:51.54), 100 back (56.98), and 200 back (2:02.72).

2015-16 — Swam collegiate bests in 50 free (23.66), 100 free (50.60), and 100 back (56.44)… posted a season-best in 200 free (1:51.81) and 500 free (5:15.90)… member of the school record-setting 400-free relay (3:20.58)… swam on the team’s second-fastest 800-free relay and 400-medley relay… won the 200 free in the dual against Western Illinois (2/5)… member of three winning relays on the year.

2014-15 — Swam to collegiate-best times in the 50 free (23.74), 100 free (51.25), 200 free (1:51.00), 500 free (5:01.55), 100 back (57.98), and 200 back (2:05.62)… member of 400-free relay that ranks fifth all-time (3:22.04)… member of team’s second-fastest 800-free relay (7:12.86)… recorded 28 top-five finishes, including three wins… letterwinner.

High School — Two-time All-American and a three-time all-state, all-conference, and team most valuable player… posted six top-12 finishes at the Illinois state meet in her career, including a third-place showing in the 100-free as a junior… top times include 51.16 (58.1 LCM) in the 100 free, 23.90 (50 free) and 1:51.36 (200 free)… holds five school records — placed in the top 16 at the Speedo Sectionals and helped her water polo team to a state title in 2013.

Personal — Born Aug. 3, 1996… daughter of Ursula Lagodzinska… has one brother, Christopher… majoring in communication studies.
