Chyna Davis is entering her first season as a member of the University of Iowa track and field staff as an assistant coach.
Her primary responsibilities include men’s and women’s sprints and hurdles.
Davis served as the head track and field coach at Emmanuel College for the last four years. Prior to Emmanuel College, she was an assistant coach at Keiser University and Jacksonville State University for a combined three years of experience.
Davis coached the Saints to 2021 men’s indoor and outdoor Conference Carolina runner-up finishes. She coached three DII NCAA national runners-up and 11 DII NCAA All-Americans (eight First Team) while at the helm of the Emmanuel College track and field program. In addition, the Youngstown, Ohio, native coached an NAIA national champion and five All-Americans, one NCCAA All-American and 31 conference champions in total.
As an athlete, Davis competed at Tiffin University in Ohio where she was a Second Team DII All-American in the 60-meter hurdles and an NCAA qualifier in the triple jump.
