Hawkeyes in 14th After Day One

ANN ARBOR, MI – The University of Iowa men’s golf team is in 14th place after the first 36 holes of the 15-team Northern Invitational tournament. The 54-hole tournament will conclude Sunday with the final round of 18.

Leading the way for the Hawkeyes after day one were Jon Feldick and Todd Larson after the pair both fired 36-hole totals+ of 148 which tied them for 29th place. Andy Teidt is currently tied for 48th after carding a 151. Erik Feldick is tied for 59th after recording a 152. Brian deBuhr and Bennett Hammerberg came in with scores of 154 and 156 to place them tied for 73rd and 79th.

Indiana and Xavier lead after the first day of competition after carding scores of 573. Individually the tournament is lead by Jeff Overton after he fired a score of 136.
