QUOTING CARNEY– “This will be the strongest field we will have faced so far this season. The Lady Northern Invitational will be a fall showcase of the Big Ten Championships with the addition of three other strong teams in Oklahoma, Texas, and Kent State. We have a nice mix of two freshmen who are starting to get good collegiate experience and four other experienced players in our lineup this week. I expect to have a good performance this week team wise and we could place well depending upon the performance of our competitors. Overall I am very comfortable with the lineup we have put together for this weekend.”
