When did you start playing volleyball?“When I was in 5th grade.”
Do you have any pre-match rituals or superstitions?“No, I just try to have a good warm-up and I like to listen to music before a match.”
What attracted you to the University of Iowa?“The educational opportunity, my teammates, and the community that surrounds and supports the Hawkeyes.”
If you could meet anyone (past or present) whom would you want to meet?“If I could meet anyone, I’d probably want to meet Michael Jordan. He’s such a phenomenal athlete and been through so much in his life. Now he is a successful businessman yet still involved in the sport he loves.”

What is the best advice you’ve ever been given?“My folks have told me totrust them, don’t believe in coincidences and you create your own luck.”
If you could live anywhere in the world, where would it be and why?“Right now I’d say home because I miss my loved ones. Someday I really want to travel Europe.”
What is something that few people know about you?“I was heavily recruited to play basketball and I was in dance until my freshman year of high school.”
If you could guest star on any television show, what would it be?“I’d really like the Fab 5 from Queer Eye for the Straight Guy to make me a visit. They’re amazing and so much fun!”
What has surprised you most about the University of Iowa?“Tailgating at football game. It’s crazy and it’s an event.”
What is the most embarrassing album in your CD collection?“I own an N’Sync CD.”
How would you describe yourself on the court? Off the court?“Very intense and competitive. I think I’m fun to watch. Off the court, I’m very laid back and like to have a lot of fun. I’m very outgoing and personable in both situations.”
