When did you start playing volleyball?“When I was about 13 years old.”
What is the best part about being a student-athlete at the University of Iowa? The toughest part?“The best part is the whole experience of going to college in America, working hard and representing my school and playing in a good conference with great girls. The toughest part is being so far away from all my family and friends back home in Australia.”
What is your favorite volleyball-related memory?“Getting selected into my first state team in Australia.”
How would you describe yourself on the court? Off the court?“I feel that I’m encouraging and hard-working. I always try my best and just love playing. Off the court I’m pretty laid back and a little shy, but I love having fun and spending time with my friends and family.”

What is something that few people know about you?“I lived in Canada for a year when I was 10 years old with my family on exchange and during that time I traveled around both the United States and Canada.”
If you bring could anything from your hometown, what would it be?“I would have to pick a few things. I would bring the weather, the beach, Australian rules football (not rugby) and my sister.”
If you were given 3 wishes, what would you wish for?“A happy, healthy and long life for my family and friends, people throughout the world being able to live happily together and I would love to be able to have a heap of money which I could use to improve the lives of people who need it, which includes myself too.”
What is something that you can’t imagine life without?“The endless support and love of my family and friends.”
If you could invite three people, past or present, to dinner, who would they be?“Well at the moment, because I am so far away from my home, I would have to say my parents and sister.”
