When did you start playing volleyball?
“I started in 5th grade.”

What is your favorite volleyball-related memory?
“When my team broke a rival team’s 109 game-winning streak.”

What was your most embarrassing moment on the court?
“Slipping on sweat and falling before and attack.”

How would you describe yourself on the court? Off the court?
“I’m focused on the court but off the court I’m very easy going.”

What would you be doing if you weren’t playing college volleyball?
“I would probably be playing another college sport.”

What attracted you to the University of Iowa?
“My sisters love of the school.”

What is the best part about being a student-athlete at Iowa? The toughest part?
“The best part is being able to do all the special things only athletes get to do. The toughest is having enough time for everything.”

What is the best advice you’ve ever been given?
“What doesn’t kill you only makes you stronger.”

If you could change one thing about yourself, what would it be?
“The fact that I’m late everywhere.”

What activities or hobbies do you do in your spare time or in the off-season?
“I like to ride my bike, swim, read and sew.”

What is something that few people know about you?
“I can move my ears.”

If you were on a deserted island, which of your teammates would you want to have with you and why?
“Betsy and Jacque because even if we couldn’t survive, we would have a good time.”

If you could live anywhere in the world, where would it be and why?
“Europe because I think it would fun to get used to a place with a totally different type of lifestyle.”
