Video from this week’s press conference involving Kirk Ferentz and select members of the nationally ranked 2003 Iowa football team, and the opening statements made by Lisa Bluder and Steve Alford at their annual Media Day events are the latest additions to the multimedia area inside hawkeyesports.com, the official world wide web site of the Iowa Hawkeyes.

“We’ve deliberately taken a walk-before-you-run approach to many areas of the site, but it’s pretty clear that we’re beginning to at least jog in the multimedia area,” said Rick Klatt, associate athletic director for external affairs.
Klatt said plans call for the introduction of audio of Ferentz’s weekly meeting the the media beginning next week. It’s possible that post-game comments from Ferentz and members of the 2003 Hawkeyes might make their way to the site after this week’s game at Ohio State.
“It’s all about finding the appropriate balance between what the limits of the staff to apply against the project are and what is desired by our friends and fans. I’m fairly certain the latter is pretty much along the lines of ‘More is better’,” Klatt said.
