Waterloo, IA – The Iowa men’s cross country team finished 11th at the NCAA Pre- Nationals Saturday afternoon on the campus of Northern Iowa. Iowa finished with 374 team points. First place Colorado won the 35-team field with 109 points.
Tony Rakaric and Brian Rae paced the Hawkeyes, finishing 41st and 49th, respectively. Rakaric finished the 8,000-meter course in 24:28 to become the fourth different Hawkeye to lead the team this season. Rae finished the course in 24:34 and Matt Esche finished in 24:37, 59th overall.
