THIS WEEK — The University of Iowa men’s track team will compete at the 2004 Big Ten Indoor Championships Saturday and Sunday in Ann Arbor, MI. All events will be held at the University of Michigan Indoor Track Building. All-session tickets are $12 for adults and $7 for senior citizens, college students and children 18 and under. Daily tickets are $7 for adults and $4 for senior citizens, college students and children 18 and under.

NCAA QUALIFIERS — Senior Ken Kemeny has provisionally qualified for the NCAA Indoor Championships, to be held March 12-13 in Fayetteville, AR, in the shot put. His best mark of 59-10 1/2 ranks 19th in the nation.

2003 INDOOR BIG TEN REVIEW — Iowa placed ninth at the 2003 Big Ten Indoor Championships, scoring 18.5 points. Wisconsin won the team title for the third time in four seasons. Ken Kemeny led the team with a fifth-place finish in the shot put (58-10 1/2), while the 1,600-meter relay of Zach Digney, Ryan Strang, Calvin Davis and Matt O’Hollearn tied for fifth place in 3:16.18.
