The University of Iowa women’s golf team is in 13th place after the second round of the 54-hole Lady Razorback Invitational played on the par-72 Pinnacle Golf Course. Iowa carded a 36-hole score of 639. Intra-state rival Iowa State leads the 19-team tournament field (601) by ten strokes over Missouri (611).

Senior Liz Bennett (Sway Hampshire, England) stroked a five-over par 77 and is tied for 11th with a score of 152 after two rounds. Freshman Maggie Gelber (Winnetka, IL) moved up to a tie for 53rd after shooting a second-round 76. Freshman Jill Marcum (Clarinda, IA) is tied for 60th after carding 83. Sophomore Amy Riepma (Clear Lake, IA) is tied for 78th after firing an 86. Freshman Melanie Boyles (Tempe, AZ) shot a 90 and is tied for 96th place.

The tournament concludes Tuesday at the Pinnacle Country Club.
