University of Iowa golfer has been named Big Ten Golfer of the Week. Miller, a junior from West Des Moines, led Iowa to a sixth-place finish in the River City Classic in New Orleans earlier this week. He tied for the team lead on both days of competition. This week’s finish marked Miller’s fourth top-20 finish of the 2004-2005 season. He also leads the Hawkeyes with a 73.68 round average.
This is Miller’s first career Big Ten Golfer of the Week selection. He is the first Hawkeye to earn weekly honors since Matt Stutzman won the award on April 12, 2000.
