Members of the Iowa men’s track and field team finished competition today in the Stanford Invitational held at the Cobb Track and Angell Field.
Freshman Eric MacTaggart and junior Dan Haut qualified for the NCAA Regional meet in the 5,000-meter run; MacTaggart ran a time of 14:04.79 and Kent finished in 14:08.90. Sophomore Jeff Kent and junior Adam Roche, along with MacTaggart and Haut all set new collegiate marks in the 5,000-meter run, as well.
The men’s team will next compete April 2 in the Cal State Northridge Open.
