May 26, 2005

College students throughout the country will have a unique opportunity to become student reporters, photographers, marketers or on-air correspondents as CSTV Networks, Inc. (www.CSTV.com) launches an innovative program that will reinvent the way college sports are experienced and promoted on-air, online and on campus.

The CSTV Campus Team is a unique opportunity for marketing, film, journalism and mass communications majors, and any students interested in covering and promoting college sports, to work alongside CSTV staff and contribute to the content and growth of the network. In addition to gaining invaluable hands-on professional experience while still in college, students will have their work showcased on CSTV and on CSTV.com and its CSTV Broadband Network, which counts nearly 200 affiliate schools and athletic conferences and associations.

Students interested in applying for any of the following positions can apply at www.cstv.com/oncampus.

CSTV.com Student Reporters and Photographers – these are the eyes and ears of CSTV.com on campus; working in concert with the CSTV.com editorial team, student reporters and photographers will cover events, write features and provide a unique students’-eye look at the campus sporting scene; they will cover the biggest games, identify compelling personal stories and write about the top players, trends and issues.

On-Air Campus Correspondents – these students will work with the CSTV on-air editorial and production staffs to cover the biggest events and the latest news on campus; students will provide audio and video contributions to CSTV’s studio television shows such as The One College Sports Show, event telecasts and feature programming.

Student Marketing Representatives – here’s a chance to work hand-in-hand with CSTV’s marketing department in New York to promote CSTV on campus by developing marketing strategies to shape how CSTV is promoted and experienced on campus; representatives will identify and facilitate event, signage, online and word-of-mouth marketing opportunities, create and distribute promotional materials, and liaise with local and campus organizations to spread the word about CSTV.
