The Big Ten Conference has announced that 41 University of Iowa student-athletes have been named to the 2005 fall Academic all-Conference team. The list includes student-athletes from men’s cross country (4), women’s cross country (4), field hockey (3), football (15), women’s soccer (9), and volleyball (6).
To be eligible for an academic all-Big Ten selection, student-athletes must be letterwinners in at least their second academic year at their institution and carry a career grade point average of 3.0 or better.
