Four More Gold Added To Collection

The University of Iowa women wrapped up competition today in the Panther Invitational in Cedar Falls, IA. Teams from Bradley, Minnesota, Iowa and Northern Iowa competed in the two-day event. Four Hawkeyes took home gold in their respective events and the 1,600-meter relay team also took first place.

Juniors Peaches Roach and Tiffany Johnson won the 60-meter dash and 60-meter hurdles, respectively. Junior Sarah Burgett won the pole vault when she cleared 11-5.75. Sophomore Kineke Alexander won 200-meters with a personal best time of 24.13. In the meet, five student-athletes set new collegiate high marks.

Next Saturday, Iowa heads to Lincoln, NE, to compete in the Husker Invitational.
