The University of Iowa Athletics Department seeks applications for Assistant Men’s Track & Field coach. This is a full-time, 12-month position, salary commensurate and includes full University benefits.
The successful candidate will assist in the coaching and administration of a Division I men’s intercollegiate track & field program; with the ability to coach a combination of sprints/hurdles and/or jumps and multi-events; recruit as permitted by NCAA rules and perform other duties as assigned by head coach.
Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree required. Other required qualifications include: Three years collegiate coaching experience; knowledge of NCAA recruiting rules and regulations; demonstrated experience working effectively in a diverse environment; proven leadership ability and the organizational, administrative and communication skills necessary to conduct a successful Division I nationally competitive track & field program. Candidate must demonstrate a strong desire and ability to recruit in Iowa, the Midwest and nationally. Preferred experiences include: Competitive or coaching experience at Division I or National Team level; USA Track & Field certification.
