FRANKLIN, IN — The University of Iowa women’s golf team is tied for fourth place after playing 36-holes at the Shoot-out at the Legends. Iowa carded a 598 on The Legends of Indiana Golf Course in Franklin, IN. Campbell University is in the lead with a score of 587.
Junior Jill Marcum (Clarinda, IA) is tied for sixth place after two rounds. She posted a score of 146 (+2). Karla Murra (Sioux Falls, SD) is tied for 15th, carding a 149 (+5). Murra’s first round score of 69 marked a personal best. Tied for 24th is Tyrette Metzendorf (Winter Haven, FL), who shot a seven over par, 151, today. Melanie Boyles (Tempe, AZ) is tied for 43rd after carding a 154 (+10).
The Hawkeyes will play the final 18-holes Tuesday with a shotgun start at 8 a.m.
