ANN ARBOR, MI – University of Iowa freshmen divers Michael Gilligan and Deidre Freeman competed at the NCAA Diving Qualifier this weekend at the University of Michigan.
Gilligan made the finals on the platform with a score of 251.95. He placed 10th with a finals score of 252.60, for a total of 504.55. On the one-meter, Gilligan scored 244.65 in the prelims and did not make the finals.
Freeman made the finals on the one-meter with a prelims score of 233.60. She placed 14th with a finals score of 245.30, for a total of 478.90. On the three-meter Freeman had a prelims score of 217.65 and did not make the finals.
