AUSTIN, TX — The University of Iowa women’s golf team finish 13th after playing the final round of the Lady Longhorn Invitational Sunday. Iowa carded a 957 on the par-72 University of Texas Golf Course in Austin, TX. Purdue won the 15-team invitational with a score of 907.
Karla Murra led the Hawkeyes carding a 234 (+18) to finish tied for 24th. Tyrette Metzendorf shot a 78 in round three to tally 236 (+20). She finished tied for 28th. Maggie Gelber tied for 59th after posting a 244 (+28).
Iowa competes next at the Anteater Invitational March 26-27 in Coto de Caza, CA.
