Keep Track Of Iowa Volleyball On hawkeyesports.com

IOWA CITY – Fans of the Iowa volleyball team now have five ways to follow the Hawkeyes throughout the season.

Live video web streaming for all of Iowa’s 15 home matches is available through the All-Access page of hawkeyesports.com. Fans will be able to watch matches inside Carver-Hawkeye Arena on their personal computer with this feature. Play-by-play commentary will be handled by the voice of Iowa volleyball, Brian Wilson.

Live audio webcasts for every match, both home and away, will also be available on the All-Access page. Wilson will also handle the play-by-play call for this feature.

All matches will be archived on the All-Access page and fans can watch or listen to any match from the season at their convenience.

Head Coach Cindy Fredrick will host a weekly web conference that can also be found on the All-Access page. Fredrick will address upcoming opponents and questions regarding the Hawkeye volleyball team.

Fans can either go the volleyball schedule page on hawkeyesports.com to find links for live audio and video, or simply click the All-Access button above the video player on the homepage at hawkeyesports.com. Pre-Big Ten matches are free, but fans do have to go through a quick registration. For Big Ten matches, fans will have to pay a $9.95 per month subscription fee. Fredrick’s web conferences are included in the $9.95 subscription as well.

Live stats is available for the majority of Hawkeye volleyball matches through the Gametracker feature. The Gametracker link can be found on the volleyball schedule page and is free.

Fans can also check out Iowa’s “VolleyBlog” featuring Hawkeye juniors Catherine Smale and Emily Hiza. Both players will be blogging throughout the season, discussing everything from road trips to what it’s like being a student-athlete at the University of Iowa. The “VolleyBlog” link is also on the volleyball page of hawkeyesports.com.
