IOWA CITY – The University of Iowa volleyball matches against Northwestern (Friday, 7 p.m.) and Michigan State (Saturday, 7 p.m.) will be broadcast live on AM-800 KXIC. Brian Wilson will handle play-by-play commentary.
Iowa enters the weekend with a 9-16 overall record and a 1-15 mark in Big Ten play. Northwestern is 16-11 with a 7-9 Big Ten record. Michigan State, who plays at Minnesota Friday night, is 16-12 overall with a 7-9 record in Big Ten action.
This weekend’s matches will be the final home matches of the 2007 season for the Hawkeyes. Iowa closes the regular season next weekend at Wisconsin (Nov. 23) and Illinois (Nov. 24).
