ASSISTANT TICKET MANAGER

The University of Iowa Department of Intercollegiate Athletics is seeking an assistant ticket manager to oversee the online aspects of the Paciolan Ticketing System, the unit’s intranet pages, and day to day operations.

Responsibilities: Maintenance of the Paciolan’s e.venue sales and e.access system, as well as coordination of software upgrades and hardware maintenance. Supervision and scheduling of part time staff. Provide management level support to the ticket manager for daily and game day operation of the ticket office. Management of assigned sports. Coordination of promotional offers with Sports Marketing Office.

Qualifications: Required: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience; at least two years of ticket office experience with minimum one-year experience in a university athletic ticket office; one year of practical experience with Paciolan system’s e.venue and e.access software system, as well as playerguest.com compliance program or similar programs. Successful candidates must have excellent oral/written communication skills and proven skill with customer service issues. Some (6 months to 1 year) supervisory experience is required. Preferred: Preference will be given to candidates that can most effectively meet the administrative and customer service needs of the athletic ticket office.

Salary: Commensurate with experience.

Terms of Employment: Full-time, 12-month appointment, starting date negotiable. Position requires working nights and weekends.
