AUCKLAND, NEW ZEALAND – University of Iowa freshman swimmer Verity Hicks is in her home country of New Zealand participating in the 2008 Olympic trials until March 30. Hicks swam in the 400 freestyle yesterday and finished in 5th place. This evening, Hicks ended up with an 8th place finish in the 200 freestyle after qualifying 10th.
