MACOMB, IL – The University of Iowa track team had 11 members compete in the 1,500 meters at the Lee Calhoun Memorial Invitational hosted by Western Illinois, Saturday. Junior Krista Anderson (4:43.73), freshman Lauren Hardesty (4:51.61), sophomore Katie Ellis (4:51.84) and freshman Amanda Hardesty (4:53.67) placed first, second, third and fourth respectively.
Rounding out the top fifteen for the Hawkeyes was Molly Esche (ninth), Hannah Roeder (12th), Jennie Docherty (13th) and Fionna Fallon (15th).
The University of Iowa will host the Hawkeye Invitational, Saturday, April 19.
