The University of Iowa Athletics Department seeks applications for assistant field hockey coach. This is a 12-month appointment with full University benefits.
Responsibilities: Assist in the coaching and administration of a highly successful Division I intercollegiate women’s field hockey program; recruit on a national level as permitted by NCAA rules; perform other duties as assigned by the head coach.
Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree (or international equivalent) required. Other required qualifications include: Knowledge of NCAA recruiting rules; proven leadership ability; organizational, administrative, and communication skills necessary to conduct a highly successful Division I field hockey program; coaching and/or playing experience at the NCAA Division I level. Preferred qualifications include: Minimum of two years collegiate coaching experience; National Squad or elite level playing experience. Preference will be given to the candidate who best meets the development needs of the field hockey program.
Salary: Commensurate with qualifications and experience.
