Big Ten Network Fall Schedule Annouced

IOWA CITY, IA – – The Big Ten Network today released its fall television schedule for field hockey, volleyball, women’s soccer and cross country. The schedule includes a number of competitions that include the University of Iowa.

Head Coach Tracey Griesbaum and the Iowa field hockey team will appear on the network twice during the regular season, with both matches originating from Iowa City. Iowa’s home match against Michigan on Oct. 10 will be broadcast live. The Hawkeyes will also entertain Ohio State on Oct. 30, for a same day delayed broadcast. Additionally, the two Big Ten Tournament semifinal matches and championship will be carried live by the network.

The volleyball squad will be televised three times, with two of the matches coming from Carver-Hawkeye Arena. Both matches against Minnesota (home on Oct. 6 and away on Oct. 30) are midweek contests that will be televised live. In addition, Head Coach Sharon Dingman and her team’s home match against Northwestern on Oct. 30 will be carried live.

Head Coach Ron Rainey and the women’s soccer team will appear once on the Big Ten Network this fall. The Hawkeyes’ home match against Indiana on Oct. 24 will be telecast live.

The men and women’s cross country Big Ten Championships, which will be held Oct. 31 in Madison, WI, will be shown tape delayed on the network.
