IOWA CITY, Iowa — Stay in tuned to the happenings of the Iowa Olympic sports with This Week, `On Iowa’. The weekly feature caught up with the coaching staffs of four Hawkeye sports on Feb. 23.

Women’s gymnastics coach Larissa Libby and the Hawkeyes host Iowa State Friday night at the UI Field House. Libby talked about her squad continuing to improve and the prospects of the meet with the Cyclones.

Women’s track and field coach Layne Anderson is preparing his Hawkeyes for the 2011 Big Ten Indoor Championships, which take place this weekend in West Lafayette, Ind. Anderson talks about the recent performance of Bethany Praska before previewing the Hawkeyes’ chances at Purdue.

Men’s track and field coach Larry Wieczorek touched on the expectations for his Hawkeyes this weekend at the Big Ten Indoor Championships in Champaign, Ill. The 23-year head coach talked about the team’s chances in the loaded Big Ten Conference.

Head baseball coach Jack Dahm liked what he saw from his pitching staff in the Big Ten/Big East Challenge last week in Florida. Dahm also touched on the position battles for the Hawkeyes before previewing this week’s action in Lawrence, Kan.
