Online Auction to Benefit Holden Cancer Center

IOWA CITY, Iowa — The University of Iowa volleyball program is currently hosting an in conjunction with its annual Attacking Breast Cancer match. All proceeds from the auction will be donated to the Holden Comprehensive Cancer Center.

Fans are encouraged to visit hawkeyesports.com and bid on Hawkeye memorabilia and other auction items. The online auction is located under the “SHOP” tab on hawkeyesports.com. Action items include an autographed volleyball and team photo; official Nike volleyball gear, including previously worn Hawkeye jerseys; a VIP match experience that includes pregame activities with the Hawkeyes; dinner at Coach Dingman’s – a home cooked meal with the volleyball coaching staff at the home of the head Hawkeye; a personal tour of the recently renovated Carver-Hawkeye Arena.

The online auction is now open. Fans can bid on auction items until noon Friday, Oct. 21.

The Hawkeyes host Indiana at Carver-Hawkeye Arena tonight at 7 p.m. in their annual Attacking Breast Cancer match. Fans are encouraged to wear pink to the match. The first 1,000 fans will receive a free pink tigerhawk headband, and $1 of every ticket sold will be donated to the Holder Comprehensive Cancer Center.
