ENGLISH CARDS HOLE-IN-ONE
Freshman Lauren English fired a hole-in-one on the 184 yard, par 3 sixth hole of the Donald Ross Course at the French Lick Resort in French Lick, Ind., on Oct. 11 during the first round of the Lady Northern Invitational
TWO TIED FOR TEAM LEAD, HARRIS ONE BEHIND
Through three fall tournaments, junior Kristi Cardwell and freshman Lauren English lead the team with a 77.3 per round average. Senior Chelsea Harris trails the pair by a single stroke. Harris and Cardwell tied for the team lead in the 2010 fall with a 75.7 average, the third-best scoring average in school history. English is aiming to become the first freshman to lead the team in scoring average since Tyrette Metzendorf paced the team in the 2005 fall (75.8) and 2006 spring (77.2).
