IOWA CITY, Iowa — University of Iowa junior Jeff Thode will return to the NCAA Championships for the second consecutive season. Thode earned an individual automatic bid to the Championships with his eighth place finish at the NCAA Midwest Regional on Nov. 12. Thode ran the 10K in 31:23.67.
Indiana State will host the NCAA Championships on Nov. 21. The race will be held at the LaVern Gibson Championship Course located in Terre Haute, Ind. The men’s 10K race will being at 12:08 p.m. ET.
Thode earned all-America honors at the 2010 NCAA Championships finishing 30th out of 246 competitors with a time of 30:21.4.
